Bad Boy arrived in 2019 as the masculine answer to Good Girl, complete with a matching bottle gimmick, a black lightning bolt that looks better in person than in photographs.

The opening is bright and peppery, a fresh citrus lift carried by warm and soft spice that adds a dry, aromatic bite. Woody notes form the structure through the middle. Then the base does the interesting work, cacao and vanilla combining into a warm, faintly sweet chocolate accord wrapped in amber that never turns cloying.

That balance is what makes it usable. It has enough character to be memorable and enough restraint to work as a daily wear perfume for men rather than a special occasion bottle. The cacao reads as warmth to most people rather than as food.

How to Wear It

Three sprays on the neck and chest. Give it twenty minutes before judging, as the cacao only emerges once the pepper settles.
